Port Health Services

The Port Health Office – Health Inspectorate Services is a small unit with diverse and unique responsibilities within the Environmental Health Directorate of the Superintendence of Public Health.

Some core functions of this unit include:

  • Trade, Import and Export of tobacco.
  • Ship Sanitation Certificates.
  • Repatriation of human remains including ashes.
  • Burials at sea.
  • The inspection and certification in connection with the licensing of harbour vessels and pleasure boats.
