BATHING WATER DATA 2026

This bathing water monitoring programme is organised and co-ordinated by the Water Regulatory and Auditing Unit (WRAU) in conjunction with the Health Inspectorate Services Officials at the Gozo Region within the Environmental Health Directorate (EHD).

The weekly reports contain results of tests that are carried out on samples collected from official bathing sites around the Maltese Islands during the official bathing season, which starts from the third week of May and ends in the third week of October. Information and classification related to all the official monitoring sites can also be found on the EHD – Bathing Water Portal.
