Xwejni Bay & Qbajjar Bay in Marsalforn, Gozo

This profile covers two official bathing monitoring points. These sites are located along Gozo’s northern coast in Żebbuġ. D09 is found in ix- Xwejni street, and D 10 ix- Xwejni street corner with Santa Marija street, they can also be accessed either via the road that snakes down from Żebbuġ or along the coastal road through Marsalforn. Both sites there is a protruding headland on which a structure known as il-Qolla il-Bajda can be found. These are a pebbled beaches with scores of salt pans cut into the rock throughout the shore platform are present in the area surrounding the bays. There are also restaurants in the area.
