Red Shore Bay in Għajnsielem & Mġarr Ix-Xini Bay in Xewkija, Gozo

This profile covers three official bathing monitoring points. These sites are located along Gozo’s southern coast in Għajnsielem and Sannat. D01 as the name means red quay as translated from “Xatt l-Ahmar” This is an ideal spot for both swimming and diving, mostly frequented by locals, known for the crystal water and beautiful coastal surroundings. Some boat house are located in the area. D02 and D03 are found adjacent to Mġarr Ix-Xini Street. A rocky beach with pebbles that is characterized by deep valleys located on either side of the bay. These is a sites are surrounded by natural landscaping and a small restaurant.
