Ras Il-Qawra Beach (Fra Ben) & Salini Beach

This profile covers five official bathing monitoring points. These sites are located at Malta’s north eastern coast adjacent to the Buġibba/Qawra Promenade St Paul’s Bay and Coast Road limits of Naxxar. C28 is a typical rocky shore with clear turquoise waters and smooth flat rocks, ideal for snorkeling. Access to the bay is through a concrete platform or going down a steep hill. C29, C30 and C31 can be found adjacent to the Buġibba/Qawra Promenade wit a rocky shore with a cement jetty. From C28 to C30 the sites are surrounded by restaurants, hotels and private dwellings. C32 is situated on the Coast Road opposite a hotel. The site is a small sandy beach surrounded by rocky shore.
