Marsascala Bay, Jerma Bay, Fajtata & St Thomas Bay

This profile covers six official bathing monitoring points. These sites are located along Malta’s southern coast in the village of Marsascala. A03 and A04 are two bathing site which forms part of the Marsaskala Bay, located in iż-Żonqor Street surrounded by residential properties and have concrete platforms. A05 and A06 are also a rocky bathing site located in is-Salini Street surrounded by residential premises. A06 is also encircled by salt pans. A07, Fajtata Bay is situated, adjacent to Qalet Street in Marscala. The site has a rocky and a sandy area. The source of the sand was obtained from dredging. There is a restaurant and a playground close by. A08 San Thomas Bay is a sandy beach surrounded by several boat houses and a restaurant.
