St Nicholas Bay & St Mary’s Bay in Comino

This profile covers two official bathing monitoring points. D22 and D23 are located on the Island of Commino which form part of Natura 2000. D22 is a sandy beach and the seabed’s within the bays are mainly composed of white sand with some rock and coral outcrops. The area is surrounded by natural vegetation and a touristic complex. D23 is a sandy beach with sand dunes and surrounded by vegetation and tamares trees. A slip way can be found at one end of the beach and there is also a public camp site is located a couple of meters away from the beach.
